Treatment lasts about 40 minutes (from 30 to 60 min). A local anesthetic is used and you experience discomfort rather than pain. But this is very individual and depends both on pain threshold levels and a zone of removal. Once the treatment is over, the client should wait for 10–20 minutes for scabs to dry. Details of this process are explained by the therapist.
After the treatment, a scab remains on the skin – a layer of remover with the pigment which has come out. The scab has light-green to almost black-green color, individual for each case.
When the scab dries out, it becomes hard and fixed, there is no need to cover it with anything, unless for esthetic purposes (with "breathing" material). For convenience we recommend you to take (depending on the removal zone) sunglasses, scarf, headwear, a hygienic mask for your mouth, etc.
